Sue is a past officer and board member of the National Speakers Association, a founding member of Meeting Professional International's Women's Leadership Initiative, and has been designated an MPI "Platinum" speaker for 6 consecutive years.

- Lives in Scottsdale, Arizona, with her husband, Bill. Sue's son, Michael, is a sales professional with Ranger American, a subsidiary of ADT, and bar tends at The Outback Steakhouse.
- Holds two yellow belts in the martial art of Aikido, hikes and works out as often as she can, is a Mac user, maintains elite Platinum status with both American and America West/US Airways airlines because of her extensive work travel schedule, and is a member in good standing of the National Speakers Association and Meetings Professional International.
